Tool of the month!

It's the turn of the spade. I have used it mostly this month to begin digging the soil that I have cleared.

It will be a very long task but hopefully, by the spring, I shall be able to think about planting some produce.

The ground is quite unlevel and by digging over a little at a time, it has become more level. I'm very pleased with the progress so far, considering how the plot looked a few short months ago.
